We launched a pop-up sale series in partnership with breweries and other Bellingham based businesses to benefit Whatcom County charities! This summer we will have live pop up sales at a few Breweries here in Whatcom County showcasing our subscription and gift craft beer boxes, Beer Fridge merch, Bellingham Born & Brewed gear, and more! You can sign up for a subscription, send a gift box, buy a sweatshirt, hat, and other merch, or just talk about your favorite beers with us.
A percentage of all our event sales will be donated to Whatcom Community Foundation! They are an amazing organization working to make Whatcom County better for everyone - funding opportunities that support non-profit, public, and tribal efforts to help our communities flourish. There are so many amazing charitable organizations in Bellingham and Whatcom county. We decided to choose WCF because they invest in a wide array of issues that are important to Jake and I. From education to affordable housing, there are a lot of big challenges that face the people who live and work around Bellingham and across the county. We are confident that when donations are made to WCF, they go towards making an impact in the lives of the people in our community who need it the most.
You can learn more about WCF, their values, and the community initiatives they support here in Whatcom County here.
** Blog Update!! **
For our very first pop-up event, we teamed up with Gruff Brewing located at 104 E Maple St #101, Bellingham, Washington. The sun was shining, the beers were flowing, and we were so happy to see people shopping our pop up to support local and contribute to this fundraiser. Our friends at Gruff joined the fundraising effort by donating $1 of every pint sold of their premium lager. We also decided to match this donation! It was an awesome evening a great kickoff to our summer series.
Our second popup was at Boundary Bay Brewing located at 1107 Railroad Ave., Bellingham, Washington. This time, the sun was not shining... but the beers were still flowin', the live band was rockin', and Boundary's weekly Friday Fish Fry was... fryin'! This was another fun evening hanging out at Bellingham's oldest and one of our favorite breweries! We definitely felt the love as folks huddled under our popup tent in between songs to browse our gear and learn more about our business. We are grateful for awesome partners like Boundary Bay Brewing. Learn more about their history here.
